CONCRETE - COMMERCIAL DECKING SYSTEMS
Course Description
This course will introduce the carpenter to the general form work and layout to build a pour in place concrete deck with multiple shoring systems (Doka, Peri, Symons and EFCO Shoring). This course will also cover sheeting a pour in place deck, erecting columns and slab edge while maintaining proper safety procedures.
Special Instructions
Tools and/or supplies required: Hard Hat, Clear safety glasses, work boots, tool belt, tape measure, framing hammer, utility knife, chalk line (no red or black), pen/pencil, notebook, highlighter and calculator.
