Procore is a cloud-based service that delivers blueprints as PDFs directly onto a tablet. People working in the field can use these prints instead of paper-based versions. Procore's technology makes the rendering and scrolling of those blueprints significantly faster, as well. In this class participants will become familiar with all of the basic operations in the app, including creating a master sets of prints, sharing, issue tracking (punch lists), progress photos, job organization, hyperlinking, RFI's, and more. This course will focus on the UBC member’s role as a user of Procore on a jobsite.
Tools and/or supplies needed: Pens/pencils, highlighter, notebook, work boots. Students are welcome to bring their own tablets, download the free Procore app to your device if possible. Tablets will be provided during the class.
