Work will return to the Construction Industry!

           WILL YOU BE READY?

OSHA 30 is becoming the "STANDARD" required on many jobs. If you work with a crane you MUST be rigging/signal qualified!  To work on a temporary elevated platform you MUST have a scaffold card!

Take the time to get the training you will need to go back to work.  Don't wait to have someone tell you what you don't have.

            TAKE THE TRAINING!

Starting February 15, 2012 if you take any two of the following: 1. FIRST AID/CPR/AED; 2. OSHA 30-HOUR; 3. RIGGING/SIGNAL PERSON; or 4. SCAFFOLDING - you will receive an "I'M READY" T-shirt.  Then you can demonstrate to everyone

           "I'M READY" for work

COURSE RESERVATION FEE - CENTRAL REGION

A refundable “Course Reservation Fee” in the amount of $25.00 is required for ALL* Skill Advancement Courses in order to “reserve” your place in class.  This procedure has been implemented to give members every opportunity possible to attend those courses requested.

The steps for enrollment are as follows:
·         Register application online
·         Submit a $25.00 CHECK (NO CASH) payable to CARPENTER SKILL ADVANCEMENT PROGRAM, as follows:
a.       “Mail” to Carpenter Training Center, 1256 Estes Avenue, Elk Grove Village, IL  60007  OR
b.       “In Person” - drop off check(s) in the “Drop Box” at the Elk Grove Village Training Center. 
·         Submit Separate Check (no cash) for each course.
·         Include Course Title/Date on the Memo line of the check
·         Check(s) are to be submitted (7) days prior to the course start date
·         FAILURE TO SUBMIT CHECK - Your application will be DENIED and you will NOT be permitted to attend course(s) applied for.
CHECKS WILL BE “RETURNED” TO EACH MEMBER AT THE END OF THE “LAST” CLASS SESSION
CHECKS WILL “NOT be RETURNED” To applicants who FAIL to ATTEND class, as scheduled.
Please Note: Applicants unable to attend training session, due to unforeseen circumstances, MUST contact this office (847.640.7373) for check refund consideration.

Members can now register for courses online.   You can receive confirmation of your application by providing your email address.

If you prefer, applications can still be printed, completed, and mailed to our Elk Grove Village Training Center or faxed to 847-364-8367
