Effective FALL 2010, a refundable “Course Reservation Fee” in the amount of $25.00 will be required for ALL* Skill Advancement Courses in order to “reserve” your place in class. This new procedure has been implemented in our attempt to give members every opportunity possible to attend those courses requested.
The steps for enrollment will now be as follows:
· Register application online
· MUST- submit a $25.00 CHECK (NO CASH) payable to CARPENTER SKILL ADVANCEMENT PROGRAM, as follows:
a. “Mail” to Carpenter Training Center, 1256 Estes Avenue, Elk Grove Village, IL 60007 OR
b. “In Person” - drop off check(s) in the “Drop Box” at the Elk Grove Village Training Center.
· Submit Separate Check (no cash) for each course.
· Include Course Title/Number on the Memo line of the check
· Check(s) are to be submitted (7) days prior to the course start date
· FAILURE TO SUBMIT CHECK - Your application will be DENIED and you will NOT be permitted to attend course(s) applied for.
CHECKS WILL BE “RETURNED” TO EACH MEMBER AT THE END OF THE “LAST” CLASS SESSION
CHECKS WILL “NOT be RETURNED” To applicants who FAIL to ATTEND class, as scheduled.
Please Note: Applicants unable to attend, due to unforeseen circumstances, MUST contact this office (847.640.7373) at least (24 Hours) “prior” to the start date of that course for check refund consideration.
